Delete your account
Driving Theory Practice — Android app (com.pixel.uaedrivingtheory, published by Abdul Hakeem Mehmood Hussain) and website drivingtheoryuae.com
You only have an account if you chose Sign in with Google in the app or on the website to sync your progress. Without signing in, nothing is stored with us: your progress stays on your device.
Delete your account yourself
In the Android app (version 1.6.1 or later)
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Choose Delete account and confirm. Google may ask you to confirm your account first.
On the website drivingtheoryuae.com
- Sign in with the same Google account and click your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Your account and everything linked to it is deleted straight away.
Or ask us to delete it
Email ahm.mhd78@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account”, from the Google email address you signed in with so we can confirm the account is yours. We delete the account and all data linked to it within 30 days and reply to confirm.
Delete only your synced progress
To keep your account but remove its progress, open the menu (☰) in the Android app while signed in and choose Reset progress. This immediately deletes the copy of your progress stored in the cloud as well as the progress on that phone.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account: your name, email address and Firebase user ID.
- Your synced study progress: questions answered, latest answers and their times, traffic signs marked as known, and your best mock-test score.
- Feedback you sent with an email address, if you ask for it in the same email.
What is kept
- Nothing linked to your account is kept after deletion.
- Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports (Google Analytics for Firebase and Crashlytics) are not linked to your account; Google deletes them automatically under its retention settings.
- Purchases such as “Remove ads” are handled by Google Play and stay with your Google Play account.
More detail is in the privacy policy.
